Welcome on my blog about online MMORPG. Today I would like to add few words about game called Final Fantasy XI. I hope you will be satisfied with content of my website.

This very cool game was published and developed by Square Enix and story is set in the fantasy world of Vana’diel, where you everyone is creating your in-game character avatar and play to rise his skills doing quests and various tasks. If you are familiar with any Final Fantasy game like FF VII or FF X you should known that game is looking similar, even currency is the same. Personally I really very like Final Fantasy game series and I’m familiar with FF VII, FF VIII or FF X. These games are fantastic, awesome, beautiful, ehh there is really a lot to talk about them. FF XI is also very good and I feel like in previous FF games.
What is interesting, game is still dominant online MMORPG in Japan.
One more thing I will also create interesting guide for zones and gil in Final Fantasy XI, I would gladly share with you with all my knowledge about that matter.

Game is looking fantastic and has quite low requirements, it’s mostly because Squere Enix, created very optimized and advanced engine. I’m playing on my Dell, 2,2 Ghz with 256 MB Video Card and 4 GB RAM, so I can’t complain.

Well, Final Fantasy XI was really warm acclaimed by critics. FF also received many awarads like GameSpy’s 2003 PC MMORPG Game of the Year Award or IGN’s Game of the Month for March 2004. If you are interested you can check out few reviews from top gaming websites.

FF XI in 2008 still has a very strong user base of around 500,000 subscribers! It’s very good result and most of players are in Japan. It’s top online MMORPG there.

Well, I’m very happy that Squere released it’s own trial ver. of Final Fantasy XI, is doing great move like other companies connected to top online MMORPG like World of Warcraft, Warhammer Online or Lord of the Rings Online.

On the and I would like to write about Final Fantasy VII – one of the best games I played in my quite long life (I’m 25 yo). That’s why I want to wrote today about most perfect game in history of gaming (in my opinion). It’s all began when 11 years ago I bought PSX and around 3-5 months later FF VII. I remember my first thoughts this game and they wasn’t warm…things like “Ohh man this game sucks..”, “why Ive bought this game?!, It’s really weird and f#@^ ing boring!!”. Back then my brother was angry and he almost yell at me. I was disappointed and frustrated but, I started to play, hoping this game isn’t crap. After few hours I was totally sucked up by this game. Wonderful. Awesome. Fantastic. Brilliant. Story, characters and magnificent amount of pure charisma, this game is really like punch in face from Evan Holyfeld.

I don’t want to talk about storyline, I just want to share with you my very warm feelings after these years. What is quite funny I’m really moved when I hear this…remember this one?

Music is really fantastic and was composed by Nobuo Uematsu, creator of soundtracks for FF VII, VIII, IX, X, XI. He is probably one of the most famous and respected composers, related to video games. Probably half of my love to Final Fantasy is connected to this great music.

Well that’s it. My post was long, because I know much about this game and maybe I will add something in the future, so stay focused ;-)

Welcome on Online MMORPG. Did you ever heard about Eve Online? This fantastic game was created CCP Games. EvE Online is first massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in a science fiction space setting. Player is controlling his own starship and travel through galaxy, collecting money – ISK, fighting with other players all just exploring the universe. Well, gamers are able to participate in any number of in-game professions and activities, including mining, manufacturing, trade or exploration. Some players are involved in piracy – they are attacking other player’s starships for ransom. This procedure is legal and developers aren’t responding in player’s activity. PvE in EvE is related to mining, ruining missions or kill pirates at local asteroid belts, which can be extremely boring. When you are creating a character you can choose one of the four playable races of Amarr, Gallente, Minmatar and Caldari. In EVE Online, your skills progress based on a real-time clock. This system is different then in other MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, Maple Story or RuneScape.

Mining involves the harvesting of various minerals, gasses, or ices. Well, mining is really boring, so if you want some action, you should focus on Player vs. Player features.

Piracy (in-game, you know Arrr stuff ;-) is part of the game, as is protection racketeering, theft, and ransom -in EvE Online, players can do whatever they want! Their main idea is to create, self-creating world with all power for the players.

Well, you probably heard about “World of Warcraft”? World of Warcraft, often referred to as WoW, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by Blizzard Entertainment.
Today is still dominant online MMORPG in the genre. The game was released on November 23, 2004, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise. Game has 2 expansion, first is called “The Burning Crusade” (was released on January 16, 2007) and second, “Wrath of the Lich King” (released on November 13, 2008). Game has over 11 millions of players all over the world. Why is so popular? It’s really hard to tell, in my opinion is little bit boring, especially on higher levels. Some people also think that WoW is “Childish and looking like some kinda cartoon game” or “it’s all about farming gold, all about power leveling and all about stupid grind all the time” or “highly addivtive SH*T!!!. In other hand, game is nice – gameplay, almost everything it’s clear and simple for everyone…maybe to simple?

Another thing is paying for subscription around 15 $ per month. Well, personally I’m not so interested so much in WoW to pay that kind of many 15 $ x 12 = 170 $ per year.

Maple Story
Of course there are also game, designed to play online for free, like “Maple Story”. This game created few years ago, is also top online MMORPG, but has …..over 50 millions of players worldwide! Maple Story is a free, 2D side-scrolling massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by the South Korean company Wizet. Although playing the game is free, character appearances and gameplay enhancements can be purchased from the “Cash Shop” using real money Game is full of colors and has many interesting enemies to fight, you can visit many interesting location and you don’t need to pay for play. Someone said that free online MMORPGs are future of gaming…We shall see in the future ;)

Eonar – Eonar the Lifebinder is very strong Vanir Titan – she is great Lady of Light and powerful protector of life. There are similarities Eonar to Greek goddess called Demeter. In combat she is fearsome and ruthless. She is member of the Pantheon.

Eredar – Eredar is very evil race of sorcerers, they are half demons. Eredars are warlock in the demonic army of Burning Legion. Their connection to demons is granting them large power for their dark magic, they are very skilled in arts of warlock.

Executus – Executus is flamewalker from Molten Core, he is servant of Ragnaros the Firelord. He is known for being almost invincible at elemental plane. He is tough to fight but with 40-players you can easily take him down, strategy is to kill all his ads nearby, four Elites and four Healers, then you can easily defeat him.

Exodar – Exodar is capital town of the draenei. It was built on part of special dimensional ship, on this ship Draenei race travel to Azeroth. Draenei race is connected to eredar race – this race lived nearly 25,000 years ago on Planet of Argus. This race was very intelligent and talented in all kind of magic. Archimonde, Velen and Kil’jaeden were most prominent leaders of their society.

Feathermoon -Feathermoon Stronghold is island fortress of the nigh elves near Feralas. You can easly travel there by boat from Feralas. Feathermoons is also name of Shandris and Thora Feathermoon, two night elven warriors.

Fenris – Fenris (Fenris Wolfbrother) is brave leader of the Thunderlord Clan. His name is taken probably from Norse mythology where Fenrir is giant wolf. Fenris was tough but he was destroyed (and his clan also) by the Shadowmoon Clan.

Firetree -Firetree its forest troll tribe. They joined forces of Horde during great conflict with humans the Second War. After War all trolls from that tribe joined the Dark Horde. This Black Horde haven’t stop fighting and for them Second War is now. Trolls are very savage and completely ruthless in battle.

Forgotten Coast – Forgotten Coast is small part of the Great Sea, it’s very near to Kalimdor. In World of Warcraft we can meet lots of pirates and also giant there if I remember correct + lots of other creatures. It’s on the west from Kalimdor if you want more specific information.

Frostmane – Frostmane tribe is specific tribe of Ice Trolls. You can find them at Dun Morogh, they are actually fighting guerilla war with Dwarves. They are rivalising with dwarves to take back their land. Long time ago this tribe was part of nation of Zul’Drak.

1. EvE Online is awesome, pay-for-play MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) set in a science fiction space setting. Basically, player is controlling his own starship and exploring galaxy
2. Player is absolutely free, he can be a pirate (in the ship-to-ship sense) and do some ransom, he can work in racketeering business or be a theft etc.
3. You can participate in any number of in-game professions and activities, like mining, manufacturing, trade, exploration and combat (PvP or PvE).
4. EvE Online is developed and maintained by the Icelandic company CCP Games. Is their most popular game.

5. If your someone or something will destroy your starship, you must pay for new one – there is no respawn. To secure your starship you must obtain special insurance which is expensive if you’ve got big starship.
6. You probably already know that official in-game currency is called EvE Online ISK or just ISK. Well, developers are from Iceland, so they just put Iceland currency into their game – in Iceland official currency are ISK.
7. To play in EvE Online, need to pay for subscription. There are 3 ways to pay for it. First one requires a credit card. Second is standard way by Game time card, called Eve Time Code (ETC). Third way is through the purchase of Eve Time Codes using EvE Online ISK.
8. As a real, hardcore space pilot you own special spaceship, with powerful lasers, explosive rockets and tons of cool weaponry. Try to be good prepared for any space surprise!

9. In EvE Online has over 7300 star system, some regions of space are safer, some are dangerous. If you are beginner you should stay away from system with 0.0

10. In EvE Online, you don’t need to farm experience points, because there are no such thing in EvE. You can evolve your character only by raising skills (progress is based on a real-time clock).

Hi and welcome all on my site! Well, today i want to add few words about history of online MMORPG. According to wikipedia, first graphic Internet game, related to this genre, was created and released by LucasArts in 1988. I’m talking about game “Club Caribe” released on Commodore 64 (back then it was like PSX 3 today ;-)). After “CC” was released first MMORPG game was called “Neverwinter Nights”. You probably remember remake, in Dungeon & Dragons rules. I played a lot in remake after Baldur’s Gate 1&2.
Another very important online MMORPG was called “Meridian 59”, created by 3DO company in 1996.

Burning Legion – Burning Legion is powerful army of infernal, demons and numerous of twisted and corrupted races. They seek to destroy order and in universe and set everything back to original state before Titans – chaotic and disorganized. They are responsible for killing millions of lives. Burning Legion destroyed thousands of planets and Azeroth is first one where they failed.

Burning Steppes – Burning Steppes is area with land way from Khaz Modan to Stormwind and also to Lordaeron. It’s very dangerous road only for tough players. You can meet there mostly Blackrock Ors, Ogres from Fire-Gut Clan and some members of Black Dragonflight + some numbers of Dark Iron Dwarves. This area is designed for players from 50 to 60 level.

Cairne – Caring is name of hero from Warcraft 3 – Cairne Bloodhoof. Now he is residing in Thunder Bluff, on Taurens territory (World of Warcraft). He is very honorable and wise so he is very valuable part of Tauren community. He has also lots of connection in all Azeroth.

Cenarion Circle – Cenarion Circle is something like pact of druid from other races. All members are very dedicated to protect Mother Nature and heal the land after damage done from forces of darkness. Members are: Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem is tauren druid, like Archdruid Fandral Staghelm (leader – night elf druid), Keeper Remulos (Cenarius son) and Commander Mar’alith he is ruling in Silithus.

Cenarius – Cenarius-Lord of the Forest is great patron of all druids. He is demigod of Azeroth and very powerful creature; he is one who led all woodland allies against first invasion of the Burning Legion during the War of the Ancients.

Cho’gall – Cho’gall was extremely powerful and he was also dangerously insane. His Twilight’s Hammer (something like clan but this clan was like some kind of a evil cult) was devoted to bringing about the deadly apocalypse.

Chromaggus – Chromaggus is dragon beat with 2 heads, it’s one of Nefarian’s servant. In combat he uses very powerful magic breaths, Incinera, Corrosive Acid, Frost Burn, Ignite Flesh, and Time Lapse (he uses one every 30 seconds). Chromaggus resides in Blachwing Lair, near Nefarin.

Crushridge – Crushridge is clan of very cunning ogres, they are also mighty and huge. They are living now in ruins of Alterac and are fighting with remnant of human from Alterac – the Syndicate. Crushridge Clan is very strong and their leader Mug’Thol is ruling very well, so everyone is feared this clan in region of Alterac Mountains.

Daggerspine – Daggerspine is place full of nagas – savage half women, half snake creatures. This tribe is living around southern part of Lordaeron. In World of Warcraft is very popular place for grinding experience points and money. You can find them very easy.

Baelgun – Baelgun Flamebeard was second in power commander of expedition to Northrend.After death of Muradin Bronzebeard, commander of this dwarven expedition he took command and went straight to Icecrown Glacier. They meet there Arthas who fought with them, but many dwarves survived.

Balnazzar – Balnazzar or Champion of the Scarlet Crusade and Saidan Dathrohan is most powerful dreadlord from his brothers; Detheroc and Varimathras. In World of Warcraft he is final mob in Scarlet Crusade headquarters, He begins the fight as Grand Crusader Dathrohan and later he throw out his human disguise for his true form of undead dreadlord.

Black Dragonflight – Black Dragonflight was something like dragon clan related to evil Deathwing. Most powerful dragons of Black Dragonflight are Onyxia and Nefarian (he is a leader of Black Dragonflight now – the most powerful from all Deathwing children). They are living in Barrens wastes, and they hate all red dragons, and every other Dragonflight.

Blackhand – Blackhand was tactical genius and a very ruthless dictator who demanded respect from his all warriors. His nicknames are – Fearsome Leader of the Orcs , The Destroyer or Warchief of the Horde. He was commander of Horde during first invasion of Azeroth.

Blackmoore – Blackmoore is grand master and commander of Durnholde Keep, also he had been chief of orc internment camp. Aedelas Blackmoore was brave and successful soldier in Second War against the Horde (maybe because he likes to drink some booze before battle – he was heavy drinker). He died killed by Thrall.

Blackrock – It’s the name of zone between the Searing Gorge and the Burning Steppes. Blackrock Mountain is very small but probably most important in World of Warcraft. There are few high level instances; like with Ragnaros (Molten Core), Nefarian (Blackwing Lair) – both of them are for 40 players raid with approximate run time more than 6 hours..So take cola, chips and play…

Blackwing Lair – Blackwing Lair is perfect place for a raid. If you gather 40-players group you can go on instance to Blackrock Mountain. Nefarian the great dragon and leader of Black Dragonflight is ploting to crush Ragnaros, he is residing in Blackwing Lair with his minions and gathering strength for battle. In Blackwing Lair there is few other powerful Nefarian servants like Chromaggus, Vaelastrasz the Corrupt or Broodlord Lashlayer and Razorgore the Untamed.

Bladefist – Bladefist or Kargath Bladefist was some time ago member of the Shadow Council (he was only one without any magical power). His nickname is from the fact he cut off his own hand and replaced it with deadly blade. Few servers in World of Warcraft are named after Kargath. Now he is a leader of fel orcs in dark Hellfire Citadel.

Area 52 – Area 52 is goblin town in Netherstorm. In this place goblins are building rocket ship called X-52 Nether-Rocket to travel into Twisting Nether. When you travel there you can see that some goblins are working with uniforms looking like Star Trek uniforms or very similar one.

Argent Dawn – Argent Dawn is lawful and good organization, they are focused of protecting Azeroth from influence of the Burning Legion or the Scourge. This organization also is interested in various magical experiments. Argent Dawn is divided into several branches based on specific location, so they have separate structure from each other.

Arthas – There was time when Arthas was honorable prince, god son of King Terenas Menethil II and respectable member of Knights of the Silver Hand, he was friend of Jaina Proudmoore. Everything was ended when he became obsessed with power. He killed his own father and after beating Lich King, he became new one. Now his kingdom is in Northrend – Arthas is new and immortal Lich King.

Arygos – Arygos is one of the ancient blue dragons, this once can be found in area of the Temple of Ahn’Qiraj he is residing there as a gnome with purple hair and beard. He is quest giver “Imperial Qiraji Armaments” – you must gather 3x Elementium Ore and Qiraji Armaments, to gest powerful War Axe, Musket, Bulwark (nice shield) or Pugio (dagger)

Aszune – Aszune was great night elf princess long time ago. She was punished for her insolence and turned into living stone statue. Thrall meet this statue and returned her magical heart, allowing her spirit rest.

Auchindoun- Auchindoun was some time ago, holy draenei site, where they buried his dead for eternal peace. In World of Warcraft this place is designed for party of five player levels 65-70. Auchindoun is divided into four wings.

Azgalor – Azgalor was a Pit Lord, later promoted to Demon King for his successes. This was in time when he was one from lieutenants of Mannoroth – mighty king of demons. He was one who killed Anessa – daughter of Broll during the battle of near Nordrassil – the World Tree.

Azjol-Nerub – Azjol-Nerub or the Spider Kingdom is dark empire of arachnid Nerubians. These very intelligent creatures something like mix of spider and humanoid. You can enter this very ancient kingdom of Azjol-Nerub in northern part of the Dragonblight.

Azshara – Azshara was beautyful and very large elf metropolia. It was destroyed during the War of the Ancients – now its area in World of Warcraft, with ghost, nagas and powerful blue dragon. Aszara is near Ashenvale, Ogrimmar and Durotar.

Alonsus – Archbishop Alonsus Faos was one from creators of the order of the Knights of the Silver Hand. He was one who anointed Uther the Lightbringer as first paladin. He died probably in old age, and is buried near the Scarlet Monastery (Faol’s Rest).

Aman’Thul – Aman’Thul was the powerful Highfather of the Pantheon. His knowledge is legendary. He has platinum skin and glow yellow eyes. He was the oldest and wisest from all members of his ancient race.

Anachronos – Anachronos is very powerful dragon living in Tanaris (contested territory). In World of Warcraft player only neutral to his faction can speak with him. His occupation is now heir of Nozdormu.

Anetheron – Anetheron is very strong and smart dreadlord, he was assigned to watch over the Lich King. Anetheron was personal bodygouard of Archimonde. He was killed during the battle for Mount Hyjal where was the World Tree. All Burning Legion army was slaughtered by night elves.

Antonidas – Antonidas the Archmage was a great and powerful mage and teacher of Archmage Jaina Proudmoore. He was killed during invasion of the Scourge on Dalaran. Arthas and Kel’Thuzad went to Dalaran for legendary Book of Medivh, they orders was to get the book at any cost in the name of Lich King.

Anub’arak – Anub’arak in ancient era was powerful King of Nerubians. Currently he is Crypt Lord, who is residing in deep of underworld. He is undead Lich, Leader of the Scourge Nerubians. It was Ner’zhul the Lich King who raised the high lords of the Spider Kingdom. Now they are under his command as an undead legion. Anub’arak and Arthas defeated dwarves and broke into the Inner Kingdom.

Araj the Summoner – Araj the Summoner is ruling ruins of Andorhal in the Western Plaguelands in Lordaeron. He is one from regional commander of Scourge forces. You can met him in World of Warcraft, he is 61 Elite with 8,500 health. He is casting Frostbolg, Mindblast and Frost Nova.

Arak-arahm – Arak-arahm is evil undead creature called crypt lord. He looks like terrible mix of spider, with strong carapace and humanoid. Arak-arahm looks like giant beetle. They are gigantic – almost 6 tons of weight and 5 meters of height.

Arathor – Arathor ages ago was the first human nation. Tribe of Arathi unificate other tribes, and built capital – Strom, today know as Stromgarde. Humans were very concerned about trolls – main threat, so unification of all human tribes was best solution in this situation. After war with trolls mages left Strom and found their own kingdom called Dalaran.

Archimonde – Archimonde the Defiler – one from the most evil demons in Azeroth. He was one of the main evil characters during Warcraft 3. He was destroyed when he was trying to destroy World Tree. Now his skeleton is placed nearby World Tree.
