1. Final Fantasy XI Online, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published by Square as part of the Final Fantasy series.

4. Gameplay in Final Fantasy XI consists of two major components: missions, through which the main storyline of the game is told, and quests, which do not advance the main storyline, but fill out the game’s fantasy world

5. Final Fantasy XI has a mostly based on gamers economy, with a heavy reliance on “Auction Houses” in each of the major cities of Vana’diel. Players can sell, buy or exchange items with each other. In all transactions players are using FF gil as currency.

6. There are 5 playable races in Final Fantasy XI are Elvaan, Galka (they are looking like bears), Mithra (they are looking like cats), Tarutaru and hume (Humans).

7. Final Fantasy XI is one of the first cross-console video games, and has continued to update its software to allow the game to run on new consoles.
8. Official currency in Final Fantasy is called Final Fantasy gil, like in other parts of the series.

9. The Japanese release of the expansion, “Rise of the Zilart” was the number 1 game when it debuted with 90 k copies sold in the first 7 days.

10. FF XI was awarded the great prize from the CESA – Japan’s Consumer Entertainment Software Association.
